LalBagh Botanical Gardens

This beautiful botanical garden is one of the most cherished botanical gardens you might find in the entire country. This spot was constructed by Haider Ali and later on, it was modified by Tipu Sultan. The elegant and lively glass house in these gardens was stimulated by London Crystal Palace. This amazing spot is stretched in 240 acres of land.  The garden encompasses more than eighteen hundred species of trees, herbs and plants.  Similarly, the lawn clock placed in this garden is the first of its kind in India. Tipu Sultan Fort

Tipu Sultan Fort is in the middle of a busy market and it tells about artistic talent that prevailed in ancient times.  It was first constructed by KempeGowda in the year 1537. Mud bricks were extensively used in the construction of this artistic monument.  However, it is important to know that the place was modified and prolonged by Haider Ali.  He used granite stones in building. However, it was Tipu Sultan who finished it in year 1791.

The fort is two-storied structure and has balconies, pillars and carved arches. The place characterizes gorgeous Islamic panache and you can also witness a temple of Ganesha here.  This thing demonstrates the spiritual tolerance of ruler.  If you wish to dive into historic depths, you can explore the art gallery inside this fort.  The gallery is endowed with beautiful paintings, photos and carvings.

Rangoli Metro Arts Centre

This centre is a one stop cultural activity centre for diverse interests.
